CITY OF REFUGE FUNDRAISER LUNCH

City of Refuge is a vision that was birthed in Steven & Karla’s heart many years ago. The first phase is the Transformation Centre that has the capacity to host up to 36 men at one time. Behind each man is a wife and children. House of Refuge Street Ministries plans to help integrate the men back into their families. They will also provide support while fathers are going through the program.

We are very excited about this fundraiser to raise money toward the building of phase one. The project will be built by faith as the funds come in. We invite you to take advantage of our special free delivery for Lakemount Church & people in the St. Catharines area or come and visit with Steven & Karla onsite at La Vid Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant. For those of Lakemount Worship Centre we will be delivering food after each service at 11:00am and 1:00pm.

We have 2 options for lunch:

• Option #1 is: Roast Beef, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables and a dessert.
• Option #2 is Chicken in mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables and a desert. Either option costs $20 per meal.

Our fundraising theme is “One Metre at a time”. Each square metre costs approximately $600. At this fundraiser we aim to raise enough money for 75 metres ($45,000). Would you consider donating for one or two metres? Maybe you can’t donate for a full metre but every amount helps toward building City of Refuge. Over the years we have raised some of the money and believe that we will soon start building once we get the permits in place. At present we have 8 acres of land on which 4 buildings will be constructed. The first building to go up will be the Transformation Centre and the total area of construction is 1,460 square metres. You can also come stop by the restaurant. Steven & Karla will be there to meet a few minutes with you. We will be following all the COVID-19 protocols. They will also be giving live updates on Facebook about what God is doing.

All proceeds of this event goes toward the City of Refuge Project. Each lunch costs $20. If you cannot make it please consider leaving a generous donation.
